Analytics & privacy notice

We use optional visitor measurements to understand how people use Fake Review Detector. You can allow or reject analytics and change your choice through the Privacy settings button.

What visitor analytics records

Public page categories, approximate country, referring website, device and browser categories, language, scroll depth and time while a page is visible and focused. Separate random browser and session identifiers are used for statistics; browser identifiers rotate after 30 days and sessions expire after 30 minutes of inactivity.

What stays out of the reports

Our website visitor reporting excludes names, email addresses, submitted form contents, private account pages, report identifiers, URL query strings and raw IP addresses. Country is estimated locally from an IP database; IP addresses are not stored in visitor reports.

Google Analytics

When configured, Google Analytics 4 is loaded only after analytics is allowed. It processes visitor measurement data under Google’s privacy policy. Advertising personalization and Google signals are disabled in our tag configuration. Public page categories are sent without private URL parameters.

Your choice

Rejecting analytics does not stop you from using the website. We also respect browser Do Not Track and Global Privacy Control signals. Your analytics choice is remembered for up to six months. Website visitor statistics can differ from Google’s reports because consent, browser settings and measurement methods affect collection.
